Genesis 32:24-28 (KJV)
And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. 25And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. 26And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. 27And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. 28And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

One of the greatest weapon for turning things around and life’s breakthrough is persistence. You must push hard and push again without giving up or getting weary and discouraged.

Perseverance: Doggedness, persistence, pertinacity, tenaciousness, determination
No matter how bad your situation might seem, no matter how hopeless the circumstances, or how helpless you might feel, don’t lose heart. It may seem like God is far away and has abandoned you, but that is never the case. Instead, God wants you to learn how to persevere in your faith.

Perseverance wins all the time. No matter how long and how tough the battle is give it perseverance and you will win. The major secret of winning life’s battle lies in persistency, ability to stand when others fall under pressure.
When the road becomes rough and the future seems cloudy, one thing to do is to move on. You may fall 7 times, but if you persevere, you will rise again.

One of the best ways to give your best a chance is to rise up when you’re knocked down. A man is not finished when he fails, he is finished when he quits.

Some definite breakthrough will not come until we are left alone (from men’s promises and connection). Jacob fought and persevered for his destiny even heaven recognized his persistency.
‘I will not let thee go’…was the cry of a man fighting for his life, his future and family. Many give up too soon in a fight and they miss their miracle.

3 Powerful forces behind a Persistent breakthrough life:
Purposeful: Focused & determined prayer.
Patience: Ability to wait until it is done.
Positive-ness: Being optimistic and not pessimistic towards life.

Prayer

I come against the spirit of weariness and discouragement in my life
I command every closed door to open for me
Lord, do some new things in my life in 2015 (Isa 43:19)
